Mike took Spencer to see Sesame Street live, When Elmo Grows Up, this past Saturday. They had a lot of fun spending time together. Spencer cheered for all his favorite characters as the show began. Mike said at the end he made sure to say goodbye to them all well. He was able to pick out a fun twirly toy with Elmo on the top that lights up as it spins. He also got a program the he carries everywhere we go even to church yesterday. When he got home we asked him what he wanted to be when he grows up and he said a "Fire Fighter" Later that day he was asked again and he answered a "Fire Fighter Cowboy." Mike had a good time enjoying the music that reminded him of being a kid and all the many hours of Sesame Street with Layla as a toddler. I am so glad they had such a wonderful time. Its nice to be able to have some one on one time with daddy.
