For Layla's birthday gift she wanted a sewing machine. So, we bought her a hello kitty machine. Its a pretty nice sewing machine. ( I think I will have to borrow it!) She was so excited to sew something. Her first project was a blanket for her doll. It turned out really cute. She was so proud she took it for show and tell at school the next Tuesday. Its fun to see her excited about learning to sew and to have a reason to be in the sewing room. November 7, 2007

oooooh... I want a sewing room for Christmas! ;) That's awesome that you are teaching her to sew. I can't wait until Charlotte and I can work on projects together.
