Layla was so excited to go to school. She had her first full day of all day kindergarten. She took her own lunch and could not wait to eat at school. She had a great day and loves her teacher. They talked about the gingerbread boy and followed him throughout the school. He ended up turning into ginger snaps that they ate, she thought this was just amazing.
Spencer had to eat his lunch before we left for his first day of
pre-k. He was pretty excited and wore his backpack for an hour before we left.
He did not want a photo before he left but we did manage to take this one. He had a melt down as soon as Mike and I said we were leaving. His teacher had to pull his body off of mike. So we ran out the door to go enjoy cookies and juice with the other parents. He ended up having a fun day, although he
didn't want to
participate. We will take it one day at a time just like we did when he went to
sunbeams for the first time. Its crazy to think we have two of our kids in school, our house was sure quiet for 3 hours.

Wow!! They are so grown up! Erica and Robby start soon as well - I didn't realize Layla and Erica were both so close in age. Congrats on the first day!!
Looks like you guys are having a great time! It's crazy for me to think about Charlotte being big enough to go to school, but I know it will be here before I'm ready for it. ;)
