The Fire Station

Spencer's kindergarten class went to the fire station today. I went along to take photos and to be Spencer's escort. Luckily the fire station is fairly close to the school, so we walked. The kids had so much fun walking. The fireman told the kids all about fire safety and then they got the tour. They were able to climb up into the fire truck. Then they were able to go see where they sleep and eat. We had a fire drill to see what it was like to get a call to a fire. To top it off one of the firemen baked all the kids cookies. They had fun and will all probably be talking about it all night. Spencer had fun touching the truck. He was just amazed at how big the truck was up close.
