We went on a family vacation to see Uncle Mark & Aunt Nicole and Uncle Jason and Aunt Tami. Grandma and Grandpa VanTassell came to Tulsa to visit us. After their visit we all drove to Iowa. It was a fun drive, the first trip in our van. The kids had a lot of fun playing with Polly Pockets from McDonald's, watching movies and of course sleeping off the medicine. Layla crashed after we had lunch, it was pretty funny. The only thing she was missing was the drool.
We stayed in Des Moines, Iowa while Grandma and Grandpa continued on to Mark and Nicole's. It was fun for the kids to stay in a hotel. We ate peanut butter sandwiches and watched The Never Ending Story. It was very relaxing. The next morning we woke up and finished the drive to Iowa City.
