Layla is a cheerleader for her elementary school. The first game that they get to cheer for is the Memorial high school football half time. They have been practicing hard. Layla has waited all summer to be a cheerleader, and to wear the uniform.

I think he was excited since Mike has been watching a lot of football lately. McKay loved sitting by the band and dancing to the music, and flirting with all the girls.
